When the Austral Winter blows with the coldest winds the Pacific Ocean around the South Pole, it is the time for the South Population of Megattera noveangliae, the Humpback whales, to start their annual migration to the temperate and warm waters of the Tropic.

The pregnant females are the first to arrive, for to give birth to their calves in the naturally protected , calm waters of the Golfo Dulce, an area where the Orcas, that often attack the Humpback whales and their babies, never enter.

So,  from July to October, their presence, often marked by their songs, offer the best opportunity to watch them while kayaking in the only Tropical Fiord of the Pacific Coast.

Wild Trails Adventures can organize for single persons and groups, the best Whales and Dolphin Kayaking Experiences, and add Coral Reef Snorkeling during the same trek.

Inquire for our standard Experience, and ask for any special activity you want to add.
