tourism routes and the boring tours.

before, and the abundant animals are not scared by human activities .

Osa Peninsula and Corcovado Park area.

A very Special Trek for lovers of Photography and Exploration of Wild Area out of the beaten path.

This area had never been developed for Trekking Activities, and it is the most pristine  of the Osa Peninsula not included in a Park, and even more pristine than many areas of the same Corcovado Park, so the abundant wildlife is not scared by Human activities and very easy to get very close for impressive photos.

The 7 kilometers river Kayaking  and the exploration of the wide uninhabited Lagoon offer a lot of opportunities for meet Wildlife in its Natural conditions

This area is under absolute protection and no fishing, hunting, agricultural or productive  activities are allowed, so, this is a Real Wild Trek, where very few Person had the chance to enter.

Feeling the experience of being among the few lucky people that had the possibility to visit this Hidden Lagoon that, for the difficulties for to reach it, remained untouched and pristine,  and prove the sensation of being the only Human being in a totally Wild spot , surrounded by a Silent Virgin Nature with the wind as the only noise.

 

The Trek Begins at the Wild Trails Adventures Base, on the Ocean Boulevard , in Puerto Jimenez, in the early morning, at 06.00.

From there the Guests and the Guide are transported ( 1hour and 15, average time), with the Kayak and related stuff, at the starting point of the kayaking Trails, and they start paddling,  following the slow current,  toward the Hidden Lagoon.

The narrow river run slowly among woods, pastureland, plantations, and swamps, until, after a 7 kilometres of run, is entering the wide body of Still Water of the Hidden Lagoon.

From a point where the Lagoon meet the Forest, is possible to take a small path that heads to the top of the hill, from where is possible to have a scenic view of the Lagoon and the valley.

After a Pick-nick lunch and an exploration of the shores covered of aquatic vegetation, the Trekkers will take the way back until a point where  the 4WD truck will retake them for the trip back to the Wild Trails Adventure Base, where there will be a Welcome Back Drink and Snack with the Guide and crew for an exchange of Impressions and Experiences

The whole activity needs a full day of time.
